Designer Stefan Umdasch has loved Classic cars since his childhood. He studied Industrial Design at the Vienna University of Applied Arts and works in the field of Interior, Glass & Product design. Besides this, he has now finally fulfilled his life dream of creating motor art by drawing his beloved & admired classic cars.

How it’s done:

Stefan is a drawer – he draws his cars with ink, in exactly the same way that he draws his initial product designs.

He outlines with ink on thick & smooth, transparent paper. All his artwork is then coloured with oils to create his own individual special technique of applying colour on both sides of the paper. This creates a rich & deep shine of the illustrated cars and brings his artwork to life.
